Unconventional Activities Escalate: Further Investigations Underway
In the heart of Augsburg, a new and exciting initiative is taking shape. Known as KARO 10, this temporary space is set to revitalise the city centre and provide a platform for local actors from various sectors. However, initial search results did not reveal much about the project's objectives or application process.
Fortunately, further investigation has shed light on KARO 10's true nature. This innovative project, created by the Department of Culture, Heritage, and Sport, aims to showcase Augsburg's cultural diversity, foster creative networks, and provide an open space for exchange and artistic experimentation.
From November 2025, the Rübsamen building in the city centre will be brought back to life by KARO 10. The space, designed for interaction between actors from culture, creative industries, sports, social sectors, and education, offers a variety of spaces for exhibitions, installations, readings, discussions, music performances, workshops, co-working, networking events, sales areas, and sports.
