Riversgold Boosts Kalgoorlie Gold Project by 170% with Strategic Acquisitions
Riversgold Limited (ASX: RGL) has significantly expanded its Kalgoorlie Gold Project 2025, acquiring tenement P25/2540 and applying for P25/2848. This move, following a partnership with MEGA Resources, signals a strategic push to boost gold development in the region.
The expansion sees Riversgold's project size grow by 170%, demonstrating a classic exploration strategy of securing peripheral areas around known mineralisation. The company has acquired tenement P25/2540 for AUD$75,000, retaining prospecting rights and an 80/20 split on minerals recovered by Goldblade Corporation Pty Ltd. Riversgold also plans to acquire tenement P25/2848, located immediately east of its existing project area, further bolstering its position.
Investors are advised to keep an eye on exploration results, partnership details, additional land acquisitions, and exploration plans incorporating the new tenements as Riversgold develops its expanded project. The company will pay a 2% royalty on all minerals, excluding gold extracted by Goldblade, with the deal expected to complete on October 7, 2025.
Riversgold's expansion, following its recent partnership and strategic acquisitions, positions the company to maximise future development options in the Kalgoorlie Gold Project. The increased project size and enhanced exploration potential could significantly impact Riversgold's exploration potential and future development options in Western Australia's gold exploration sector.
