Our Website Celebrates 10 Years of COP Coverage, Named Key Partner for COP23

Our website has been a prominent player in the global climate change scene, recently celebrating its upcoming 10th anniversary. It has covered every Conference of the Parties (COP) since 2017, including the significant COP23 held in Bonn from 6-17 November 2017. Notably, our website was named a 'key partner' for COP23, a testament to its influential role in the climate change discourse.

The website's journey in COP coverage began in 2017, with COP23 being a pivotal moment. It was here that our website signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to become an official media partner, a recognition of its extensive coverage and impact. The event, attended by around 25,000 people from various sectors, saw our website secure an exclusive interview with Bertrand Piccard, the initiator of the World Alliance platform. This platform showcases energy-efficient technologies that generate profit while reducing CO2 emissions.

Patricia Espinosa, the Executive Secretary of UN Climate Change, expressed her delight in the diverse support for COP23, including our website. This endorsement further solidified our website's standing in the climate change community. Our website's co-founder, Susan Robertson, also played a significant role in this recognition. As a consultant for OnePointFiveMedia and a member of the UNFCCC-led Resilience Frontiers Nexus group, Robertson's expertise and dedication have been instrumental in our website's success.

Looking ahead, our website's partnership with COP30 in Brazil, facilitated by the Brazilian Presidency of COP30 and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is a testament to its continued relevance and influence. The UNDP's digital platform 'Maloca' will serve as a global entry to broaden participation in COP30, further expanding our website's reach. As our website approaches its 10th anniversary in 2025, it looks forward to publishing milestone moments each month, reflecting on its journey and the impact it has had on the global climate change conversation.
