Nvidia & Fujitsu Team Up to Build Japan's Full-Stack AI Infrastructure by 2030

Nvidia Corp and Fujitsu Ltd have joined forces once again, this time to develop and deliver a full-stack AI infrastructure for Japan by 2030. The collaboration, announced in Tokyo by CEOs Jensen Huang and Takahito Tokita, aims to bring smart robots and other AI innovations to the Japanese market.

The AI infrastructure will be built on Nvidia's powerful graphics processing units (GPUs) and leveraged by Fujitsu's extensive experience in the Japanese market. The companies aim to create an AI agent platform tailored for industry-specific sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and robotics. This platform will be supported by AI computing infrastructure, designed to establish a robust AI foundation for Japan.

The collaboration is not new to these companies. They have previously worked together on AI projects, including speeding up manufacturing with digital twins and robotics. This time, they aim to create an AI infrastructure that is constantly evolving and learning, keeping Japan competitive in the global AI landscape. Fujitsu's CEO, Takahito Tokita, has emphasized a 'human-centric' approach to ensure the AI's benefits are maximized for the people of Japan.

With a potential to revolutionize sectors like healthcare, manufacturing, and customer services, the AI infrastructure developed by Nvidia and Fujitsu could pave the way for Japan's AI future. The collaboration, set to be completed by 2030, is expected to deliver smart robots and various other AI innovations, all powered by Nvidia's cutting-edge computer chips.
