New Christmas Market Opens Near KaDeWe, Backed by Berlin Mayor

A new Christmas market is set to delight Berliners and visitors alike, opening near KaDeWe on Wittenbergplatz from November 24, 2025, to January 1, 2026. The Governing Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner, has given his patronage to this festive event.

The market will be easily accessible via U-Bahn (U Wittenbergplatz and U Augsburger Str.) and numerous bus lines, making it a convenient stop before or after shopping at KaDeWe. Visitors can expect a stylish atmosphere, with white pagoda tents adding to the charm.

Occasional stage shows will entertain the crowd, while donation campaigns for the Berlin Cold Bus and Berlin AIDS Help will run throughout the market's duration. Prominent guests will be on hand to collect donations, giving back to the community in the spirit of the season.
