Museums Offering Morning Experiences: Upcoming Attractions at City Museums

Aachen Museum Service Expands Offerings

The cultural department of the city of Aachen has announced an expansion of its museum services, providing a richer cultural experience for individuals and groups. The new offers include a variety of tours, special programmes, and events, all designed to delve deeper into the city's museum treasures.

The selection of tours covers a wide range of topics, from collection highlights and epochs to contemporary art, arts and crafts, baroque living culture, and more. Some of the hidden gems waiting to be discovered include the "Couven Museum in Detail" and "Art at Noon" tours, which promise to reveal lesser-known aspects of the museums' collections.

Registration for these new offerings can be done via email or phone during service hours, which are Tuesdays to Fridays from 9 am to 2 pm. Specific programmes such as "Museum with Baby," "Art, Croissants, and Jam," and "Couven Museum in Detail" are also available for booking.

For art enthusiasts, the study course "Upon Closer Inspection" offers additional background information. Private guided tours on desired topics can also be arranged for individuals or groups.

The existing museum service offerings remain unchanged and can still be booked. These include services for various groups such as kindergartens, schools, travel groups, families, seniors, companies, teams, birthdays, and vacation activities.

Starting in September, the Couven Museum, Ludwig Forum, and Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum will offer special mornings for art enjoyment from 10 am to 1 pm. These "Morning at the Museum" sessions are expected to provide opportunities for art and culture discovery for all generations.

Heinrich Brötz, the city of Aachen's commissioner for education, youth, and culture, expressed delight at the rediscovery of the city's museum treasures. "Morning at the Museum" sessions, however, do not seem to have specific details available in the current search results for these three museums. To get the exact information, it is recommended to directly contact the museums or check their official websites or Aachen tourist information.

For inquiries, emails can be sent to [email protected]. The Aachen Museum Service also provides advice for custom guided tours. Special offers include curator talks, guided tours, and writing workshops for adults in front of artworks.

An RSS feed for press releases is available at https://www.unsere-website.de/rss-feed-pressemitteilungen/rss.xml. The Event and Tourist Information office in Aachen could also assist, with opening hours generally from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on most days.
