Luxury Vehicle Adventure: Mercedes-Benz G-Class Journeys Through Morocco
Mercedes-Benz is set to take off-roading enthusiasts on an adventure of a lifetime with its new G-Class customer experiences, available from October to November 2025 in Morocco and Austria.
For those seeking a more intimate off-road journey, the Private Coaching programme offers a limited opportunity for six participants to explore the Schöckl test track in Austria. The two-day programme includes a behind-the-scenes factory tour, driving modules, and the chance to take the wheel themselves on the legendary Schöckl route, previously only available to passengers. The cost for this exclusive experience is €9950 for a pair.
For a more extensive adventure, the G-Class Expedition Desert Edition offers a five-day, nearly $30,000 off-road tour in Morocco. This 811km journey traverses the Atlas Mountains, features water crossings, rugged trails, and concludes with dramatic drifts in the Merzouga Desert. Participants will drive various G-Class models, including the G 450 d, G 500, the new electric G 580 with EQ Technology, and the AMG G 63 and G 63 4x42. The experience includes exclusive dining, desert camp accommodation, and a chartered flight return from Errachidia, catering to a maximum of 20 participants.
The G-Class programmes offer a luxury experience with a serious side of dirt for thrill-seekers. Each vehicle in the G-Class Expedition Desert Edition has been handpicked to showcase the G's range from grit to green credentials.
The G-Class Experience Centre in Graz has also received a fresh upgrade. A new Private Coaching programme is available, lasting two days, and the centre can now be booked for corporate events with tailored driving sessions and private hospitality at the G Base. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz is offering an exclusive delivery experience at the centre, including a private instructor session, overnight hotel stay, and a ceremonial handover in a glass cube, for €2750.
The standard one-day G-Class Experience, costing €2490 solo or €2990 per duo (NZ$4800 to NZ$5800), includes forest trails, water crossings, on-road agility challenges, testing three diff locks, tackling the "Iron Schöckl", and a tour of the Magna Steyr plant.
The G-Class customer experiences provide an opportunity for customers to explore beyond the usual stomping grounds of the iconic off-roader, offering a unique blend of luxury and adventure for off-roading enthusiasts.
