Hotel chain, previously known as Shearings Hotels, to undergo a revamp and rebranding, now operating under Coast & Country Hotel Collection.
The Coast & Country Hotel Collection, a new collection of 39 former Shearings hotels, is set to reopen in the coming weeks. The collection, which includes properties located in picturesque coastal and rural locations, aims to attract those seeking leisure breaks and welcomes local residents.
The reopening of the Coast & Country Hotel Collection is part of a positive move for the industry, as the hospitality sector begins to recover from the impacts of the pandemic. Under a Hotel Management Agreement with Bespoke Hotels, the collection offers clients a base to visit regional tourist attractions or take part in active outdoor pursuits.

The collection includes prominent local hotels in well-established leisure locations, such as Windermere, Fort William, and St Mawes. In addition to the previously mentioned hotels, the Coast & Country Hotel Collection also includes the Derwent Manor Apartments, a set of 19 self-catering apartments in Keswick, Cumbria. The Derwent Manor Apartments are aiming to reopen to guests in April.
Coast & Country has sought to actively re-employ previous staff and offer new roles to those keen to join the hospitality industry. With planned reopening dates varying depending on location, most hotels are set to reopen on the 17th of May.
