The Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival returns this year from 23 to 26 October, transforming Central Harbourfront into a global culinary and wine extravaganza. Celebrating the rise of contemporary Chinese gastronomy, it attracts international connoisseurs eager to explore the city's vibrant food and wine scene.
The festival's highlight, the Grand Wine Pavilion, showcases a carefully curated selection of global wines. Expect rare and historic bottles from countries like the Czech Republic, Belgium, Norway, and Austria, making their Hong Kong debut. The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is behind this spectacular event, aiming to enhance visitor experiences and promote the city as a premier travel destination.
The Tasting Room, open exclusively during the festival, offers gourmet delights crafted by world-renowned chefs. This year, attendees can savour creations from celebrated chefs like Andrew Wong, Jung Ji-sun, Menex Cheung, and Jayson Tang. Adding to the excitement, Chef Cheung Yat Fung from Beijing's three-Michelin-starred Chao Shang Chao restaurant will make an appearance.
Gourmet Avenue presents signature dishes from award-winning restaurants and chefs, usually fully booked elsewhere. New this year, a self-guided pairing experience lets attendees explore varietals matched with complementary foods, elevating their festival journey.
