Historic Hotel Kaiserhof Ravensburg Reopens After Comprehensive Renovation
The historic Hotel Kaiserhof Ravensburg has reopened after a comprehensive renovation, 116 years after its initial opening. The project, led by Behnisch Architekten, has transformed 51 rooms, two restaurants, and a bar with an outdoor area on the city wall. The Imperial Hall, a highlight of the renovation, offers elegant dining in a modern setting that blends classic and modern influences.
The Imperial Hall has been recognised for its excellence, receiving the prestigious Gault&Millau award. This honour not only acknowledges the high quality of the Imperial Hall but also highlights Ravensburg's growing culinary importance. Mayor Dr. Daniel Rapp expressed his delight at this achievement.
The renovation aimed to strike a balance between the tradition of the house and modern standards. The result is a harmonious blend of old and new, as seen in the Imperial Hall's elegant yet contemporary design. The successful renovation has also earned the Kaiserhof the 'Silver Certificate' from the Bürgerforum Altstadt Ravensburg e.V.
The reopened Kaiserhof Ravensburg offers a unique dining experience in the Imperial Hall, combining classic elegance with modern comforts. The renovation has not only restored the hotel to its former glory but has also positioned Ravensburg as a culinary destination, as recognised by the Gault&Millau award.
