Gütersloh's Cultural Backpack Offers Young Rap Workshop
Gütersloh's Cultural Backpack presents a unique opportunity for young creatives. From October 13 to 15, a three-day rap workshop and song production event is set to take place, led by a local artist collective.
The workshop, open to children and young people aged 10 to 15, will run for five hours each day. Participants can contribute both in front of and behind the camera, learning rapping basics, developing their own texts, and recording a song in a mobile studio. On the second and third days, a music video will be produced, with story development and acting skills training provided.
Professional coaches will assist with rhyming, flow, language, and breathing techniques. The finished texts will be combined with suitable hip-hop or rap beats and professionally produced. Registrations are still possible via the cultural portal at www.stadt.gt/kulturrucksack.
The workshop, part of Gütersloh's cultural programs, offers young participants a chance to express themselves creatively and learn new skills. The finished songs and music videos will serve as a testament to their hard work and artistic growth.
