Key developments enhancing this access in 2025 include:
- Visa-Free Access to China: Starting June 9, 2025, Omanis can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, business, family visits, and cultural exchanges, as part of a broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) inclusion by China alongside Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain[1][2][4].
- Mutual Visa Exemption with Russia: Since July 18, 2025, Oman and Russia have a mutual visa exemption agreement for short-term visits, allowing Omanis visa-free entry to Russia as well[1].
