Giant Superyacht Debuted by Riva, Setting a New Record
In the world of luxury yachting, the name Riva is synonymous with elegance and sophistication. And in 2025, the Italian shipyard raised the bar even higher with the launch of its largest superyacht to date – the Riva 54 Metri, christened as Sairu.
Measuring an impressive 54 meters (approximately 180 feet) in length, the Riva 54 Metri is a testament to Riva's commitment to crafting grand vessels that blend Italian design with advanced engineering. With a maximum beam of around 8.6 to 9.18 meters and a gross tonnage just under 500 GT, the Riva 54 Metri effortlessly complies with regulatory requirements while offering ample space for guests and crew.
Exterior design is the work of Officina Italiana Design, with signature Riva styling evident in a combination of Moon Grey, London Grey, and Bright Black finishes, polished steel, and an aquamarine waterline. The yacht's design is further enhanced by two large sun pads adorning the bow.
The Riva 54 Metri boasts a four-deck layout, accommodating 10 guests in four cabins plus a main-deck master suite, and crew quarters for 11 personnel. Outdoor space spans over 370 square meters, making it the highlight of this superyacht. The 5-meter stern swimming pool, complete with fold-out terraces and sun lounges at the bow, is a standout feature.
Innovative technology is at the heart of the Riva 54 Metri. Four electric stabilizer fins, dual radar systems, 5G and Starlink connectivity, a bridge equipped with multiple touchscreen displays, and strong acoustic insulation to maintain guest privacy are just a few examples. The innovative helm station is fitted with two X-band radar systems, a Starlink antenna, a full ECDIS system, three 27-inch touchscreens, and a 44-inch stretch monitor.
The main deck features a welcome area equipped with a large sofa, armchairs, and an outdoor bar. The stern houses a large transformer platform with an extra-wide walkway leading to a plush beach area, complete with a 16-foot pool and sunbeds. Both hull sides in the beach club and main deck cockpit fold out to create waterside terraces.
Riva plans to launch another 54 Metri in 2026 and 2027, further cementing its position as a leader in the superyacht industry. The Riva 54 Metri, with its elegant Italian design, advanced engineering, and spacious, luxurious accommodations, is currently the largest superyacht built by Riva, setting new standards in luxury and innovation.
