Flights from Krasnodar to Antalya will be offered by Southwind Airlines
Krasnodar Airport Kicks Off Operation with Flights to Antalya
Krasnodar Airport, located in southern Russia, commenced its first day of operation on a high note, serving around 500 passengers. The airport's inaugural flights are to the popular Turkish resort of Antalya, with Southwind Airlines leading the charge.
Southwind Airlines, based in Antalya, will operate flights from Krasnodar twice a week, specifically on Mondays and Fridays, until November 21, 202X. Azur Air and Azimuth are also part of the lineup, offering flights to Antalya three times a week.
Tour operators PEGAS Touristik and Coral Travel have booked blocks of seats for their tourists on these flights, making it easier for travellers to plan their trips. These flights can be booked as part of package tours or separately.
PEGAS Touristik and Coral Travel have not been mentioned as booking blocks of seats for the new flights yet. However, Azur air has previously announced the resumption of flights to Antalya, and further flight schedule information will be available at a later date, according to the Russian Association of Tour Operators.
The tour prices for a 7-night stay in a 5-star hotel in Turkey with 'all inclusive' and flights from Krasnodar are approximately 136,000 rubles for two people.
Meanwhile, Aeroflot, Russia's flag carrier, made history today with the first domestic flight from Moscow (Sheremetyevo) on September 17. The Airbus arrived with 100% occupancy, marking a significant milestone in the recovery of the aviation industry. Interestingly, the first domestic flight by Aeroflot today departed from Krasnodar Airport in the opposite direction.
Azimuth will resume flights from Krasnodar Airport to Istanbul, Antalya, and Yerevan in September, joining the growing list of destinations from the newly opened airport. No specific date for the resumption of flights by Southwind Airlines from Krasnodar to Antalya has been provided yet. No further information about the flight schedule from the Russian Association of Tour Operators is available yet.
As the tourism industry slowly recovers, Krasnodar Airport's inaugural flights to Antalya are a promising start, offering Russian travellers a chance to enjoy a sunny getaway in Turkey.
