Hopping on the Green Train: Johannes Oerding's Eco-Friendly Tour Across Germany

Singer Johannes Oerding recently embarked on an environmentally-friendly train tour through Germany, organized by Deutsche Bahn. This tour, referred to as the "Fastest Tour by ICE," has been a popular choice among artists resonating with sustainable travel trends.

Setting foot at various ICE train stations, Oerding traveled from Münster to Düsseldorf, Karlsruhe, and Ulm, performing impromptu concerts at each stop. At Düsseldorf's main station, Oerding, driven by nostalgia, shared a special connection with the audience as his grandmother once lived in Bilk. His fans, largely women, hung on his every word, demonstrating a deep familiarity with his music. The concert drew a huge crowd, with many fans eagerly capturing the moment on their phones, rarely getting such close proximity to the artist at his regular concerts. Oerding even took notice of the youngest fans, inviting two children onto the stage for a memorable photo opportunity.

Last year, the "Fastest Tour by ICE" made its debut with Max Giesinger, and this year sees more free live performances in an eco-friendly manner. This goes hand-in-hand with Deutsche Bahn's commitment to showcasing rail travel as the greener alternative to other transport modes. Touring via train can save an average of around 80 kilograms of CO2 compared to driving a car, aiding Germany in meeting its climate targets.

Deutsche Bahn's Marketing Director, Stefanie Berk, stated, "We're not just getting our guests from A to B, we're also a place for encounters." Such actions by Deutsche Bahn aim to persuade people to choose ICE travel over cars, contributing to a greener planet.

Meanwhile, Johannes Oerding was presented with an unexpected bonus - a delay in the ICE to Karlsruhe, which gave him a precious 20 extra minutes in Düsseldorf.

In the audience was enkelson. This train tour through Germany, while promoting sustainability, also offers an exceptional platform for artists like Oerding to meet their fans and create a unique, memorable atmosphere together.

As part of this eco-friendly tour, Johannes Oerding not only performed live music at various stations but also fostered a close connection with his fans, helping to create an unparalleled entertainment experience during travel. This unique lifestyle event, organized by Deutsche Bahn, simultaneously promotes sustainable travel practices, making it an exciting combination of travel, music, and entertainment.
