ASB-Wunschwagen Helps Grant a Heartwarming Last Wish
Hans-Jörg, a terminally ill patient, recently embarked on a poignant journey with the ASB-Wunschwagen, a wish-fulfilling ambulance service for terminally ill patients. The journey from the east of Germany to the Kieler Woche, one of the world's biggest sailing events in the north, was a memorable and meaningful experience for Hans-Jörg.
Facing the last phase of his life, Hans-Jörg expressed a heartfelt wish to attend the Kieler Woche one more time. The ASB-Wunschwagen team, along with volunteer wish-granters Sven, Diana, and Katrin, made this wish come true. The journey was carefully arranged to cater to Hans-Jörg's physical needs while providing him with the opportunity to experience something deeply meaningful.

Hans-Jörg actively participated in the sailing experience, sailing on the Ostsee with the team from 'Wir sind Wir - Inclusion in Sailing' on the Henk de Mol, a barrier-free sailing boat.
