Getting There and Back
Traffic ramp-up is anticipated throughout the morning and afternoon along the Oresund Bridge. Although vehicles can still cross the bridge all day, reduced speeds and potential delay in journey times are on the horizon between 6 am and 5 pm, warns Øresundsbron press adviser John Alexander Sahlin.
Looking for a smooth ride? Traffic will be one-way through the tunnel between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm, with the direction changing roughly every 15 minutes. Tight squeeze ahead between 6 am and 9:30 am, as well as between 1:30 pm and 5 pm!
Rail traffic will also experience disruptions due to the road closures on the bridge. For the best possible journey, consider commuting before or after the event for minimal inconvenience.
Joyous Journeys for the Runners
For participants taking part in the extraordinary Oresund Bridge expedition, special buses provided by the race organizers will serve as seamless transport between Copenhagen and Malmo. Make sure to flaunt your race bib on the bus!
Spectators Galore!
As a cheerleader, supporting your loved ones or other runners, you can still get in on the festivities from vantage points in both Copenhagen and Malmo.
On the Danish side, you'll enjoy a musical ride along the first two kilometers of the course, with entertainment filling the air before the 1-kilometer mark at Kastrup. Slip into the starting area in Tårnby south of Copenhagen to get your adrenaline pumping!
In Sweden, join the final stretch kilometer leading up to the finish line in Sibbarp, after the runners disembark from the bridge and motorway toll area. As the runners cruise along regular streets, admire the atmosphere, and cheer them on, with entertainment zones to brighten the moment!
