Condor Expands Route Network with New Destinations and Eco-Friendly Aircraft
Condor is expanding its route network, with new destinations including Dubai, Gran Canaria, and Hurghada. The airline will operate daily flights to Dubai from Berlin using an eco-friendly A320neo aircraft, starting mid-2024.
Condor's new winter flight schedule from Berlin Brandenburg Airport includes daily flights to Dubai. The airline's CEO, Peter Gerber, expressed delight at this expansion. The Dubai connection will provide access to further destinations via Condor's partner hubs.
Condor will fly to Gran Canaria on Thursdays and Saturdays, and to Hurghada on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. These flights will be operated using modernized A320neo and A321 fleets, which are more efficient and environmentally friendly. The A320neo, in particular, reduces fuel consumption by up to 20% and can be operated with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
