Spirit Airlines Launches Nonstop Service Between Key West and Fort Lauderdale
Starting November 6, 2025, Spirit Airlines will offer nonstop service between Key West (EYW) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL), providing a convenient travel option for passengers. Initially, the service will operate four times a week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays), with the frequency increasing to daily flights from December 18, 2025.
The introductory one-way fares start at an attractive price of $79, and promotional fares are available for booking through November 19, 2025, for travel between November 6 and the end of the year.
Spirit Airlines offers three travel options for this route: Spirit First, Premium Economy, and Value.
- Spirit First offers enhanced comfort with a Big Front Seat, priority check-in and boarding, complimentary snacks and drinks (including alcoholic beverages), streaming access to fast Wi-Fi, and no change or cancel fees.
- Premium Economy provides more space with a Premium Seat offering extra legroom or a blocked middle seat, priority boarding, and reserved overhead bin space.
- Value maximizes affordability by allowing travelers to select only the extras they need, such as seat selection, carry-on, checked bags, and other options.
This is the only nonstop connection between the two cities, and passengers also gain easy one-stop connections from Fort Lauderdale to other major U.S. cities.
