Aircraft service is extending to Egypt from Ekaterinburg with a brand-new carrier
Sky Vision Airlines, a private Egyptian airline based in Cairo, has announced its plans to operate flights from Yekaterinburg to Nha Trang, Vietnam twice a week, starting from September 29, 2023. The flights will be operated on Mondays and Fridays.
This marks a significant step for Sky Vision Airlines, which began commercial operations in January 2023. The airline specializes in regular and charter flights from major Egyptian airports and has now extended its reach to Russia.
In addition to the Yekaterinburg-Nha Trang route, Sky Vision Airlines will also operate flight programs from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Omsk, Perm, Tyumen, and Ufa. The flight time from Yekaterinburg to Nha Trang is approximately 9 hours and 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Aeroflot, Russia's flag carrier, will launch direct flights from Yekaterinburg to Nha Trang on the same date. However, there is currently no information available about the expansion of flights from Russia to Egypt by Sky Vision Airlines or Coral Travel's increased flight program to Egypt for the 2025-2026 period.
Package tours on these flights are already available in the booking systems of PEGAS Touristik and Coral Travel. Interestingly, discussions are ongoing for a direct flight to Gazipasha, Turkey to make Turkey more accessible for Ural residents.
Ural Airlines is already operating direct flights to Gelendzhik during the summer navigation period three times a week. The first flight from Yekaterinburg to Gelendzhik departed on August 5 with a full load. Direct flights to Gelendzhik from Yekaterinburg are operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
For those planning to travel to Egypt, it's worth noting that Egypt is the undisputed favorite for the winter season, and the second-largest seller for the summer period. The one-way ticket price for the Yekaterinburg to Nha Trang flight starts at 45,800 rubles.
